Danny Slayton, (AKA Smooth) carries the low
end for Crimson City Quartet. Now residing
in Enterprise, MS, Danny was born and raised
in Meridian, MS. His mother taught him
to love and appreciate that “ole time

attending live concerts by such groups as
The Blackwood Brothers, The Florida Boys,
The Chuckwagon Gang, and one of
his favorites, The
Gulftone Quartet with

performed
previously with several popular groups,
including The Lawmen and The Blackledge

Southern Gospel is his calling and wants to
be used of God to tell others the “Good
News” of Jesus Christ.
