December. We sang in Pace, FL on
Sunday morning, then Lucedale, MS at Bexley
Baptist Church on Sunday night. Then
on Monday night we were at Danny’s church
for a New Year’s Eve sing. Along with
us was Bryan’s group, The King's Messengers
Quartet and Grace Trio. I think it was
a shock to Bryan’s group when we were called
to the stage, the music started and low and
behold Bryan was sitting at the keyboard
playing along with us. He played like he had
been with us all the time never missing a
note. During the singing we even had
Bobby and Bryan both on keyboards at the
same time. I know you have heard the
saying Dueling Banjos, well, we had
Dueling Pianos. Both pianos
were smoking when they got thru. Everyone knows how Bobby can play the piano and
Bryan can forever more tickle the ivories
also. Wow did we ever have a great
time. People are still talking about
that singing. The church was full and
it stayed that way till after midnight.
Seemed like everyone hated to see it end
because it was so much fun.
Bennie had to leave the road with us due to his job
sending him all the way to CHICAGO. I’m sure
the city will never be the same again.
Hehe! I know it was hard for him to
leave but as we all know he loves to eat so
he had to go. We miss him but as in
the past God has always had His hand on us
in all things. When we found out he
was leaving we started praying for someone
to take his place and God sent him our way.
CHRIS SMITH who is from Ocean Springs, MS
was sent to us by God and what a wonderful
asset he has been. He just fit right
in and took to our songs like he has been
singing them all his life. He is the
youngest member now and I can’t stand that
hehe. (Just kidding Chris) Chris
sang with Crimson City when the group first
started singing so it’s like he is back
home.
Crimson City is headed back to Panama City. FL for the
EMERALD COAST GOSPEL MUSIC CONVENTION again
the end of January so make plans to come see
us if you are in Florida or you might just
need to get away for the weekend. It
is a full weekend of Southern Gospel music
from Thursday night thru Saturday night.
Along with Crimson City and other members of
the Emerald Coast Gospel Music Association,
Brian Free and Assurance, Three Bridges and
The Dixie Echoes will be singing. We
are looking forward to another great
convention.
We now have an online music store available so if you
need CDs, Christian neck ties, or ladies
jewelry go to the web site and order them.
Remember to Pray for Crimson City Quartet
every day, so that we may stay in the will
of the Father. If you would like to be
a monthly financial supporter of Crimson
City Quartet it would be appreciated.
We will provide information on how to become
a CCQ partner in the near future.
God Bless,
